Spring Concerts 2010

The Spring Concerts 2010 were special because we played in two venues we hadn’t played before Peel Clothworkers primary School and the newly refurbished St. Ninian's Church.

The concert at the new hall at Peel Clothworkers was very exciting as we had long wanted to play a venue in the west of the island and with a full house the event couldn’t have been better.

Saturday's performance at St. Ninian's Church proved equally popular and was sold out. We had played at St. Ninian's Church in the past but with its new refurbishment we were not sure what to expect. It proved to be a superb concert venue.

Colin Horsley OBE our Patron attended Saturday’s concert which made the occasion extremely special to all members.

The programme included Beethoven's Overture: Prometheus, Mozart's Symphony number 38 'Prague' and Beethoven's Symphony number seven. The latter being a very popular and famous piece.

Please find below You Tube videos of Beethoven’s Overture ‘Prometheus’ & Symphony No. 7 movement II from our spring concert at St. Ninian's church. To see the rest of the concert please use the following link and choose to see all 8 videos.
