This year’s Spectacular is a French Spectacular in the presence of the French Honorary Consul to the Isle of Man. We will be performing music  by many of the French greats. Included in the programme will be Satie's Gymnopedie, Faure's Sicilienne and Bizet's Gypsy Dance from Carmen,  with Ballet from The Academy of Dance.

Our Leader, William Pickering, will be the Violin soloist in our performance of Ravel's Tzigane. And not to be missed Saint-Saens Organ Symphony (featured in the film "Babe” adapted from the book “Sheep pig” by Dick King-Smith) with John Riley as Organ soloist.

After the success of last years Gold & Silver Ball we were keen to include a Ball as an annual event.

The Winter Ball promises another Viennese style evening with music from Strauss & other Viennese composers with the opportunity for you to take to the dance floor.

We are delighted that the Madigan’s School of Dance and The Academy of Dance have again agreed to participate and will delight you with Ballet and exhibition dancing as well as encourage you to the dance floor.

There will be a pre-concert reception at the Sefton Hotel Atrium.
